While the civilian segment awaits the promised infrastructure bill in Congress to pass, the Pentagon goes ahead with planned construction on domestic military bases. As a case in point, a permanent new air station in Southern California at Point Mugu Naval Base Ventura will include a $53 million Coast Guard Air Station. The air station will include a 43,045-sq.ft. hangar facility with four bays, shops, and storage for MH65T and MH60J helicopters, as well as a 12,183-sq.ft administration building.
